Dbl. Dipl. Moriz Vohrer · naturebase
Ecosystems at the heart of our economy.
Independent advisory on carbon markets, reforestation and biochar - for companies, governments and international organisations. Working worldwide, rooted in the Black Forest.
Who is Moriz Vohrer?
Scientist, standard setter, practitioner.
Forest and environmental scientist Moriz Vohrer has worked for over 20 years to bring the value of ecosystems into economic decisions - initially as project manager in Uganda, later as co-founder of the forestry division at the WWF-founded Gold Standard.
Today he advises independently - from the UN climate secretariat to international corporations and local project developers. His stance is liberal-green: climate action scales when it pays off and when local people benefit.
